Tree of Life Celebrates the Sixth Annual Native Plant Week!
The third week of April has been officially designated California Native Plant Week, and 2016 marks the sixth year! The dates are Saturday April 16 through Sunday April 24. Tree of Life Nursery is happy to offer a variety of promotions in commemoration of this year’s California Native Plant Week.
In addition to our Saturday workshops we will be offering Buy One, Get One (BOGO) offers* throughout the week. Different plants will be on BOGO special each day, and we’re ending the week with an opportunity drawing as well as a free plant with a purchase of $100 or more, read on for more details!

1:30 PM Special Workshop – Drawing Nature with Sama Wareh
Join us for an activity you will find educational and fun for adults and children alike, where you will sharpen your observation skills as you learn simple techniques for “drawing nature.” Workshop attendants will receive a free plant!

9:30 AM – Native Plant Basics with Colin Dunleavy
Learn how to choose the right plant for the right spot and how to properly care for your natives to ensure a happy and healthy native garden! Speaker Colin Dunleavy will give a brief introduction on seasonal maintenance of California native plants followed by an in depth discussion of the importance of knowing what a plant can tolerate for proper selection in the landscape.
