1:30 PM WORKSHOP – How to Draw Nature – $25/adult, $20/child with registered adult
Join us for an activity you will find educational and fun for adults and children alike, where you will sharpen your observation skills as you learn simple techniques for “drawing nature.”
Author, Naturalist and Artist Sama Wareh will lead a 2 hour workshop based off of her award winning book “How to Draw 60 Native CA Plants and Animals: A Field Guide”. Enjoy Turkish Coffee while you unleash the creativity within you. Learn how to sharpen your observation skills in order to capture nature’s beauty with your preferred artistic medium. Learn how to break seemingly complicated drawings into shapes and lines. Bring a Sketchbook and come prepared to have some fun!
Sama Wareh has sold over a thousand books and has held hundreds of art and science workshops throughout Orange County. In 2013, Wareh was awarded OC Register’s OC Metro’s 40 under 40.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
