California is blessed with an abundance of gorgeous plants that are sure to bring you many years of flowering seasons, steady beauty, occasional visitors (birds and butterflies), resident wildlife, and best of all… huge water and labor savings. Growing natives in your garden will be a truly rewarding experience! Having so many beautiful native plants to choose from can be both a blessing and a curse when you first begin your landscape overhaul, because the choices may seem overwhelming. This summer, come to Tree of Life to enjoy a few of our “micro-talks” (short and sweet) about native plant groupings that will help you create your own native oasis in a variety of situations. Our Designer in Residence (DIR) each week will provide the talk, book your private 25-minute consultation for the same day, for more details about the DIR program click here.

However, you can save tons of water and elevate your landscape a bit by using neat, green tidy native ground covers. Planted in a variety of colors and foliage, these attractive plants can provide a neat appearance that still looks controlled and clean. Rob Moore from California Native Garden Designs will present.
