Replace Your Lawn Workshop Series Fridays in September and Rebate Programs
Back by popular demand, we are presenting our Replace Your Lawn (RYL) workshop series in a special four part installment about the basics of converting your ecologically taxing and expensive lawn into a beautiful, carefree, sustainable habitat.
These workshops will be held FRIDAYS at 9 AM in the month of September, starting September 9th. This month’s RYL series is unique because we will hold two sessions on plant selection in preparation for Fall planting season. Come get ready to replace your water-guzzling lawn by learning the basics: lawn removal, creating and caring for a native garden, and the fun part – Plant Selection!
Rebate Programs. Speaking of replacing your lawn – definitely check with your water districts and cities Southern Californians!! There are some GREAT lawn replacement rebate programs, but you can usually only apply for funds on your project BEFORE you have removed your lawn. So, before you actually kill and start replacing, check out these programs!
