The Artist Reception on February 7 was a great success! It was a beautiful day for an art show at the nursery. What could be better than sun, native plants—and original art?  If you missed the opening reception for Alaska artist Debby Bloom on Saturday February 7, it’s not too late! A sampling of Debby’s bright and cheerful work will be in our gift shop through mid-March.  Come by! There’s even a grizzly bear with a fresh salmon catch!

Replace Your Lawn (RYL) Series Concludes Saturday February 7

Replace Your Lawn

The Replace Your Lawn (RYL) with Native Plants Series covers the basics about removing your water thirsty lawn and replacing it with California native plants. In this series, we discuss the process of replacing your lawn “from the ground, up!” covering design tips, care do’s and don’ts and we provide plenty of inspiration about what to put in once the lawn is gone. This January we had four parts in the series and are concluding it this Saturday with our fifth installment where we will provide some inspiration. We will repeat the RYL series this March.
