Continuing Events This Spring…

reimagining ca lawn coverAfter a fun and exciting California Native Plant Week, we will continue with educational seminars this Spring, including a book signing and lecture by Carol Bornstein, co-author of the new book Reimagining the California Lawn.  Full schedule below:

Sat April 30 – 9:30 AM: Container Gardening with Native Plants
, After an introductory lecture – BYO container or purchase a new one on-site, we’ll provide workspace and potting soil with your plant purchases to assemble your container.  Make a nice gift for Mom, (Mother’s Day is the following Sunday!)

Sat May 7 – 10:00 AM: Tour of TOLN Gardens
– Serving as one stop on the OC CNPS Garden Tour – A guided tour of a behind-the-scenes experimental garden will be conducted at 10am.  Other demonstration gardens will be open throughout the day.

Sat May 14 – 9:30 AM:
Lecture and Book Signing by Carol Bornstein, co-author of the new book: Reimagining the California Lawn, Cachuma Press.

Sat May 21 – 9:30 AM: Attracting Songbirds to your Garden – We will feature summer-berrying natives as well as design ideas for attracting birds to your garden.

Sat May 28 – 9:30 AM: Compatible Flowering Desert Plants in the Native Garden
