Join us in January for another session of the Replace Your Lawn with Native Plants Workshop Series.
Saturdays in January starting January 10, 2015!
Additionally, the Designers in Residence will not be available on Saturdays during a short winter break this December and early January, they will resume providing 25-minute design consultations each Saturday starting on January 10, 2015.

Wreath Making With Native Plants Workshop
This Saturday December 6, 2014!
An annual tradition here at Tree of Life Native Plant Nursery, come celebrate the holiday season with your own handmade wreath fashioned out of California native plant material! Craftswoman Hilda Evans will instruct two workshops this December and you are welcome to participate in the fun.
Saturday December 6, 2014
Session I: 10:00 am – 12:00pm
Session II: 2:00 pm – 4:00pm
Cost: $35.00 per wreath
*Walk-Ins Welcome, Registration recommended*
You are welcome to pay and register for multiple participants in this workshop. One participant may make up to two wreaths and must pay for each wreath. Limit two wreaths per participant.

9:30 AM – Ceanothus and Manzanita: California’s Evergreen Winter Beauties
Come learn about our winter blooming natives: Ceanothus, also known as California Wild Lilac; and, Arctostaphylos, also known as Manzanita! These plants offer the native gardener steady year round foliage, and in the winter months, these two plant species SHINE. Ceanothus comes with flowers ranging from bright blue to white, and Manzanitas have pink or white flowers and a signature stunning red bark that is sure to please year round. Both are pleasing to many pollinators including hummingbirds and butterflies. These two species do best planted in the cool season – so come learn about the varieties we have available and get them planted in your garden!!
