TWILIGHT THURSDAYS
Every Thursday night in July and August we will have special evening hours from 4pm – 8:00pm, (We are normally open to the public until 4 pm). It will be an opportunity to engender a spirit of community with presentations, casual round table discussions, bird walks, demonstration garden tours, refreshments, and special prices on everything.
“We suggest that summer is a more challenging time to plant native plants,” said Debbie Cressey, Marketing Director at Tree of Life. “Many natives perform better with a fall planting. However, summer is an ideal time to make plans, to read, to learn, to discuss, and to prepare for the fall planting season. Twilight Thursdays will be the perfect forum for all that.”
BE A PART OF THE COMMUNITY
Join us for our new informative sessions – Twilight Thursday Thoughts – from 6-6:30 pm, Thursdays this July and August. Each night will be centered around a theme. We will have speakers and experts on hand to answer your questions about design, plant care, wildlife, and all aspects of native plant horticulture. The setting of Twilight Thursday Thoughts will be casual and a bit more intimate than our Saturday workshops, and the nursery is really nice that time of day.
These evening sessions will offer an ideal setting for landscape architects and designers to get together and participate in the discussions. We are actively seeking to create effective themes for all participants. Please see our “Note” on Facebook about the topic and leave a comment with your ideas or drop us a line. We anticipate a few evenings featuring a moderated open forum allowing five minutes for each speaker.
