Twilight Thursdays this July and August!

The Nursery in Summer
Join us this summer for some of the most pleasant hours you can ever spend at the nursery – twilight.  We’re staying open until 8 pm on Thursdays during July and August and offering 10% discount on all merchandise from 4pm-8pm.

Each Thursday will highlight a theme and have informal and personal discussions centered on the week’s theme from 6-6:30pm, schedule of themes outlined in detail below – discussions include moths & butterflies, hiking and the outdoors and even some native edibles.  Come ready to participate or just to enjoy.  Light refreshments will also be available.

Ortega Highway News:
The road closures on the Ortega DO NOT effect any traffic to or from the I-5 freeway.  The closures (further up the road) don’t begin until 8:30 pm after which passage is prohibited to and from Riverside County until 4:30 am.  The Ortega Highway is open 24 hours between the I-5 freeway and Tree of Life Nursery.

Safety News:  Please note traffic on eastbound Ortega Highway can be quite heavy in the late  afternoon during the commuting hours.  To avoid problems at our entrance, we suggest that you drive just past the nursery to Casper’s Wilderness Park where there is a protected left-turn lane.  Use their driveway to turn around and simply come back to our driveway, less than 500 feet on your right, as you return westbound on Ortega Highway.
