Spring Events around Town

There are a number of exciting events going on around town this Spring. Here are a few we are looking forward to!

Saturday April 23
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Orange County California Native Plant Society Native Garden Tour
Cost: $10, Click here to register or buy your ticket at Casa ‘La Paz’, our retail store.
Location: All Over Orange County
Exciting Details:
– Self-guided tour of California Native plant gardens
– Website for registration, also features detailed descriptions of each of the 15 gardens.
-Many of the gardens are home gardens featuring natives installed to replace lawn.
– Seeing the gardens in person will inspire you!

Sat-Sun April 23-24
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Eco Garden Expo
Cost: FREE
Location: Los Rios Park, San Juan Capistrano
– Expert Landscape and Environmental Speakers
– Plants, Produce and Products
– Demonstration Garden and Artisan Crafts

Saturday May 14
10 am – 2pm – Santa Margarita Water District Water Awareness Festival
Cost: FREE
Location: Santa Margarita Water District – 26111 Antonio Parkway, Rancho Santa Margarita
-Landscape workshops focused on low water gardening
-Kids activities and tours throughout the day
-Tree of Life Nursery will be at the event alongside My Avant Garden to answer your native plant questions!

Saturday May 21
10am – 2pm – Trabuco Canyon Water District Water Awareness Day
Cost: FREE
Location: 32003 Dove Canyon Drive, Trabuco Canyon, CA 92679
– Water use efficiency strategies for your home landscape as well as rebate information
– Family fun activities including BBQ, games, and face painting
– Tree of Life will be tabling with a variety of beautiful California native plants
– Raffle for a Designer in Residence appointment at Tree of Life!
