This summer we mentioned some of the rebates available around Southern California for removing your lawn and replacing with drought-tolerant plants. We’re re-posting and adding that we missed the Long Beach Lawn to Garden Program last time.
Rebate Programs. Speaking of replacing your lawn – definitely check with your water districts and cities Southern Californians!! There are some GREAT lawn replacement rebate programs, but you can usually only apply for funds on your project BEFORE you have removed your lawn. So, before you actually kill and start replacing, check out these programs!
