Reata Park and Event Center is a brand new public park built by the San Juan Capistrano Open Space Foundation. This landmark park is a MUST SEE for the native plant enthusiast because it is landscaped entirely with California native plants. Tree of Life Nursery founder Mike Evans assisted in the building of this park as a board member as well as by guiding the placement of every native plant in the park, (of which there are many!). This new park is the representation of many people’s generous contributions of time and money to create a truly unique and authentic park for future generations.
