Avoid Traffic at I-5/Hwy 74!
Congestion occurs due to Ortega Highway Interchange Improvement at the I-5/Ortega Highway interchange that makes traffic a bit sluggish. To avoid this jam, we suggest the following alternative routes. For official Caltrans maps and information, please click here.
Southbound on I-5:

EXIT Crown Valley and head EAST
RIGHT on Antonio
LEFT on Ortega Highway
(South of Crown Valley Parkway)
EXIT Juniperro Serra and head EAST
RIGHT Rancho Viejo Road
LEFT Ortega Highway
Northbound on I-5:
EXIT Camino Capistrano
LEFT at end of Exit Ramp
RIGHT San Juan Creek Road
LEFT La Novia
RIGHT Ortega Highway
