The Naturally Inspired Artist: Painting in the Outdoors – 9:30am to 12:30 pm
Come Join Sama Wareh, Artist, Author and Instructor in painting a canvas landscape or macro painting inspired by the beautiful surroundings of Tree of Life Nursery. Learn fundamental observation and painting techniques from the art of seeing to the art of translating it into a painting and enjoy a 3 hour relaxing morning feeling inspired, creating a completed 8×10 canvas painting. $40 per person, includes materials OR bring your own acrylic paints, canvas and brushes. Native Cultures: The Seri People at Tree of Life – 9am to 4pm
Tree of Life Nursery is honored to host a group of artisans from the indigenous Seri (Comcáac) tribe, hailing from the arid coast of Sonora, Mexico. These Seri artisans will have their finest items available for sale, and in the spirit of “fair trade,” 100 percent of the sale proceeds will stay with the artisans. Fall Sale
The ideal time to plant is upon us! With cooler weather and rain (hopefully) ahead of us, it is a great time to get your natives in the ground. To celebrate we’ll be having an 11% off sale on plants on 11/11!

Artisan Craft Fair – 10am to 2pm
Tree of Life Nursery will be hosting a number of the local vendors from Casa ‘La Paz’, our bookstore and gift shop. They will bring a special display of their products that will make perfect gifts for the holidays! Come enjoy this festive day and start your holiday shopping in a beautiful and relaxing setting. In the holiday spirit, we will be serving light refreshments.

Tour of Nursery Gardens – 9:30am to 10:30am
Small Business Saturday
Bring your holiday guests, friends and family alike, to Tree of Life to see our beautiful native plants in our nursery gardens. We will lead a tour of the nursery gardens and provide insightful discussion about how to get started with native gardening. On the tour you will be inspired by our mature native plantings, by seeing some of our newer plantings, and by our extensive knowledge and abundant enthusiasm. It is also Shop Small Saturday in San Juan Capistrano!
