With the replacement of useless turf we have a wonderful opportunity to build meaningful gardens that would invite us in. The “California Garden” featuring native plants in naturalistic designs, offers more than simple outdoor decoration in it’s understated simplicity. In this talk we will discuss gardens that are beautiful, purposeful, functional, experiential, and restorative. And of course, water conservation and sustainability get thrown in as a bonus.
