Spring Equinox Celebration!
A special fun day at TOLN!

SCHEDULE and PROGRAM

9:00AM – 4:00PM Tree of Life Nursery open.

9:30 – 11:00AM Special Presentation: InsectLife by Dr. Leon Baginski, M.D., Public Event.
Dr. Leon’s InsectLife presentation is always a hit, one of our most popular, family friendly Saturday workshops. Come learn the important role natural gardens play in supporting diverse native insect populations, beautiful on their own, and supporting a myriad of other wildlife species. Learn how to build a healthy habitat with native plants and natural landscape features. During the show and tell portion of this workshop (insects, eggs, larvae, and diverse specimens in various stages of development) you will get a true “hands-on” experience.

10:30AM – 2:30PM Food Truck: Chef Edgar, Maiz Cocina, Public Event.
TOLN will set up tables and chairs for you to enjoy a gourmet food truck lunch under the big oak. Why leave, or head into town when you get hungry for lunch? Stick around. You’ll be glad you did.

1:15 – 2:15PM Nursery Tour, (special behind the scenes): Mike Evans, President TOLN, for RMV residents, RanchLife Private Event.
Learn about the wholesale plant propagation and production at TOLN.

2:30 – 4:00PM Tree Planting: Learn the proper way to plant as we celebrate the equinox with a special tree planting. Public Event.
Any day is a good day to plant a tree, so for us, this spring equinox plan is actually just a good excuse to properly highlight an event that is special every time we do it… planting a tree.

4:00PM Thanks for coming to our Spring Equinox Celebration!
