A person finds joy in giving an apt reply –
And how good is a timely word.
Proverbs 15:23 NIV
With fall in the air, we wish to express a good word in due season:
GRATITUDE
THANK YOU to everyone who has been on this native plant trail with us, watching us grow and participating in our Tree of Life “community,” no matter the time during the last 45 years you joined in. Thank you for your business, your encouragement, and your friendship. Our shared goals and passions for native plants have kept us knit together.
THANK YOU to our landlord, Rancho Mission Viejo. As one of California’s great historic ranchos, you provided us the opportunity to grow our business and to be included in your story. We strived to be the best stewards ever on one of your most beautiful parcels, and we have fairly fallen in love with this place. Over the years, many have commented on the “spirit” of Tree of Life, but we know the “spirit” of this land was present long before we started growing natives here. Our utmost respect and gratitude to you, RMV.
THANK YOU to God who, over 40 years ago, answered our prayers for a site to conduct our business. You have been so faithful and touched so many lives. We have been healed and changed on this land. And thank you for continuously answering our prayers during our entire time here.
THANK YOU to all the people, to you, our team, our “staff” and our colleagues who over the years helped make Tree of Life what it is today. A few of you have been here from the very start. You are all like family to us and we are grateful to have had each and every one of you in our lives. We thank God for you.
Sincerely,
Mike Evans and Jeff Bohn
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who has made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Psalms 100 NIV
