Create a Gift of California Fragrance
Wondering how to show that special person (significant other, friend, teacher, yourself!) how awesome they are this Valentine’s day? Join Tree of Life Nursery’s Melissa Adylia Calasanz Saturday, February 10th, to create a truly unique gift of California fragrance! This will be a hands on interactive workshop, designed to help you create a beautiful container arrangement of aromatic California native plants.
Keep it for yourself, or share it with someone you love. During the workshop you will get an introduction to several aromatic, California native plants, that are easy to care for and excellent for small container gardening. You will receive information for each plant’s basic sun and watering needs as well as additional information on uses, such as for teas, cooking, aromatherapy, cultural uses, etc. The pot you create will be a joy for Valentine’s day and throughout the year! Reserve yours spot here!
Gardening for Moths and Butterflies
Join Dr. Leon Baginski as he shares the joys of habitat gardening. Native butterflies and moths are facing dwindling numbers due to habitat loss and degradation. Come learn how to make your garden a beautiful and welcoming environment for our native butterflies and moths. Dr. Leon will go over the native host and nectar plants that attract and support them so your garden can be a sanctuary for you and these beautiful beneficials.
